MR 5.F The Last Judgement

I learned about The Last Judgement and Particular Judgement. You either go to Purgatory, Heaven, or Hell. The video says that you never change your mind after death, so all actions don't change and you keep choosing the same actions you are choosing. Even if you are a good person and you die with sin, facing towards hell, you will continue to drift away from God for all eternity. The video says that whatever your state of mind is when you die is where you will be in the afterlife.

MR 5.F Particular Judgement

In this ideasketch I explain the idea of peticular judgement and purgatory.

MR 5.F Last Things

The last things are the things that come after death. The video says that you never change your mind after death, so all actions are locked in and you keep going in the direction you are going. The video says that even if you are a good person and you die with sin, facing towards hell, you will continue to drift away from God for all eternity. The video says that whatever your state of mind is when you die is where you will be in the afterlife.

MR 5.E Analysis of the Sacraments and the Church

In this IdeaSketch, Okelberry, Healy, Garza and I break down how the Scracments are tied into the church. First it discuses the uniquness of the entrance into Heaven through the Church. Also how through Apostolic Succession the only way to recieve the Sacraments or Sanctifying Grace is through the Church

MR 5.E Sanctifying the Church

This idea sketch was made by Connor Healey, Anthony Okelberry, Ethan Pham, and Trevor Garza. I explained further about the sacraments, graces, Church, and Heaven. Then I went into even further explanation of those. I also went into depth about the Sanctifying the Church. It all leads back to the thought that only through Gods Grace can we get to heaven.

MR5.E Apostolic Succession and the Holy Spirit in the Church

In this idea sketch, i show how the Apostolic succession plays into the church and the Bishops today. Also what the holy spirit does in the Church everyday. This Ideasketch splays out how the Apostlesd had/have the authority to grant others auuthority in the furthering the Mission of Christ

MR 5.E Analysis on Apostolic Succession

Anthony Okelberry, Christian Gomez, and Conor Healey made an EduCreations video on preventing heresys. We talked about how there are many ways to participate in heresys. We showed how believers can know the difference between the true or false Church. We went into detail about what a heresy is. We also told how it could be avoided.

Created by Conor, Tony, and Christian. Just as a note, we spelled succession wrong in the video, but we got all the content there. Apostlic succession prevents heresies, not through its own power, but by the power given to it by God.

MR 5.D Analysis of marks of the Church

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/educreations-interactive-whiteboard/id478617061?ls=1&mt=8
Christian Gomez, Anthony Okelberry, Conor Healey, Trevor Garza, and Ethan Pham created an EduCreation toghether. We answered the question from critical thinking. It showed how to find out which church is God's Church. We proved it using the four marks of the Church. We gave a deep explanation on how the four marks are different and what they mean.

MR 5.A Analysis on the Ascension

This was worked on with Anthony Okelberry, Trevor GAarza, and Christian Gomez. This is an anaylsis of the facts of the resurrection and ascnesion, not our opinions. We know historically that Jesus did rise from the dead. We know Historically that Jesus told the Apostles to expand the Church. We know that Jesus ascended into Heaven. These are facts given to us by the textbook and the Bible, as well as from EduCanon, rather than our opinions.

MR.5.B Analogy comparison of the Feast

In this Idea Sketch, Christian, Connor and I go into depth into how the analogy of the feast does apply to the Redemption and the Paschal mystery. We show the parralles and the consequences of not abiding by the guidelines that Jesus had layed out for us through the Church. Especially how the feast and the redemption are open and free for all. How it is all layed out for us to recieve all we have to do is believe in the feast and walk through the door

MR 5.B Feast Analogy Analysis

Created by Conor Healey, Anthony Okelberry, and Trevor Garza.

MR 5 Analysis of Feast Analogy

Created by Conor Healey, Ethan Pham, and Christain Gomez.
We decided that the analogy of the feast that was used in the video was a good analogy for the kingdom of God. It is free and accessible to all, but there is some effort required to enter. God wants us all to join him in heaven, but we have to take the necessary steps to be closer to him. Without any effort on our part, we cannot enter heaven.

M.5 Analysis of EENS

In this Idea Sketch, Christian, Anthony and I go into detail of how the latin phrase of EENS plays into the Catholic church and how there is no redemption with out the sacraments that the Church provides for us.

MR 5.B Analysis of the Church

In this Idea Sketch, Christian, Ethan and I go into detail of how the latin phrase of EENS plays into the Catholic church. There is no redemption with out the sacraments that the Church provides for us. We also explain the pascal mystery. It is Jesus' Passion, Death, and Ressurection. We tell about the eternal friendship and communion with God, the perfect happiness.

MR.5.B Analysis of the Church

An extremely well made and in depth analysis of the Church and how it connects to certain aspects of our faith. Made by Trevor Garza, Connor Healyey, and Anthony Okelberry. Well organized and a great show of our knowledge of the section.

MR 5.A Analysis of Pentecost

Our IdeaSketch is clarifying the Pentecost. We explained the significance and order of Resurrection, Ascension, and Descent of the Holy Spirit. We then went into deeper meaning on each of those explaining why they were needed. We also made great connections and put them toghether. We then explained about the Apostles.

MR5.A Analysis of the pentacost

In this analysis of the pentacost, we go through and show the significance and the reasons behind why the pentacost was 50 days. We also describe what Jesus told them to do after the ascension. When he layed the path that humanity is supposed to follow to achieve redemption. In this it is show why Jesus ascended and his path to ascension.

MR5.A Pentecost

An in depth analysis of the Penecost and the lessons taught by Jesus to he diciples after the Resurrection. Also how the Holy Spirit affects the diciples.

MR 5.A Analysis of the Pentecost

MR 5.A Analysis on the Ascension

Our groups analysis was about Christ Redeems through his Church through Ascension. It is not an opinion because we found multiple facts from multiple sources. We also refered to Mr. Cole's EduCanon Video. It tells what the Resurection and Ascension is. It also shows what happened between the Resurrection and Ascension.

MR5.A Analysis on the Ascension

40 days after the Resurrection, Jesus assumed the fullness of his glorified divinity. Worked on by Anthony Okelberry, Trevor Garza, and Connor Healey. An analysis of facts about the Ressurection/Ascension. Good teamwork and an equal amount of work placed upon each individual.

MR4.F Proof of Ressurection

MR4. Analysis Christ's Bones

In this analysis, we break down the two arguements of if we found Jesus's bones. We disprove Bultmann's ideal of thinking. We did this through the description of the basic teachings of Christianity. How we cannot be saved by a dead man. This should be considered as a analysis for we go in depth to disprove a logical fallacy.

#12106 MR 4.F analysis of proof of resurrection

Not proof but credibility. There is a difference between the martyrdom of the apostles and the martyrdom of the nazis. The Apostles died for something that they saw. This meant that they knew for certain whether it was true or not. It is possible that they would die for a lie that they were making up, but it is so unlikely that we should assume they were telling the truth. The Nazis had not witnessed the Jews being made a lesser race, they were just told by someone that they were. The difference is that the Nazis died because of the faith that they had that someone else had told them the truth. The Apostles knew whether they were telling the truth or not.

MR 4.F Proof of the Resurrection

The arguement that @dragonblaze brings up the arguement that any belief that has a martyr is proved true, however the logical fallacy with this arguement is that the Resurrection was an event, not just a belief. For one truely believes something and dies for it does not nessecarily prove that belief. But if someone sees something happen and they are tortured and killed because they stick to their rendition of that event, the chances are that they are telling the truth are pretty certain. For a man who lies and is threaten with his life if that is true, he would drop the lie. For even a man who values his life highly would drop the truth for his own skin. So the chances that an apostle would die for a fake event is nil. Thus the apostles that sacrificed their life for the truth of the Resurrection increase the credibility by atleast ten-fold.

How Analysis is Unique

Our Analysis is very unique. It is about how the Ressurection is proving how the Ressurection actually happened. Instead of being a superstition we showed how Peter Kreeft told it was true. We stated what he believed about the resurrection. Over all we agree and believe what he thinks as well.

If I were one of the Apostles

If I were one of the Apostles present during the Transfiguration. I would go beserk. How a man i have been following and listening to his teaching revealed to me and my fellow followers that he was the son of god and that he would give up his life for us i would be estatic

MR 4.B Defeating the Prince of Darkness

I notice that these are things God went through, as his life as Jesus.

Apostle Point of View

I would be speechless, the Transfiguration was such a mind boggling event that it would definitely make me curious on how it was possible. I would have no regrets or doubts on God or the Catholic faith. As an apostle who followed Jesus, I would have been very surprised on seeing Jesus just become bright and ahing. Also this event might have been terrifying.

Apostle point of view

We have the most context from Peter and his conversation with Jesus so let's go from there. Peter had just argued with Jesus about what the Christ should be. Peter though he should be a warrior king and Jesus knew he would die on the cross. So after this, Jesus shows them not only that he is holy, but that he can summon Moses and Elijah. It must have been terrifying for Peter, leaving him to pray that Jesus doesn't smite him for disagreeing on a position that he had no place in deciding. Of course, with Jesus as a merciful God this didn't happen, and that would probably reinforce Peter's faith.

Transfiguration

This breaks down the themes of the last supper and Transfiguration

Transfiguration 12106

By Conor Healey, Daniel Cho, and Zachary Lynch.

MR.4.C Final Blog Post

It would most likely radically change the strength of my Fiath, I know it's not a good thing but seeing the Lord in the flesh would be extremely convincing. I would probably react the same way as James, John, and Peter did, complete shock and awe. (Thanks to Mr. Cole) I now realize the purpose of the Transfiguration, to show Peter, John, and James why, as the Christ, he must die.

MR. 4.B Defeating the Prince of Darkness

These are all related to the temptation of Jesus. It had God and Son to reference Jesus's devine nature. It also has some pointless words like "foot" and "away," but le's assume that there was some added context behind those words that just isn't here. Most of these words are eiher describing the temptation from the devil, or simple add context by mentioning a few things from Jesus's background

MR 4.B Defeating the Prince of Darkness

In this picture, it represents the amount of time a word is used in the passages of MK, MT and LK. Our eyes are drawn to the biggest words, naturally, but we forget about the most important words. The small ones. For if we are presented with the word "God", we would automatically know that its good, but how can we describe it without the small words? For without the small words, the big ones have no meaning (to us at least).

MR 4.B Defeating the Prince of Darkness

It shows the "battle" that has been being fought since the beginning of time, the fight between Good and Evil, God and the Devil. The bigger the word the more it was used in the passage.

MR 4 Analysis: Wedding at Cana

Good solid data and information.

MR 4 Analysis: Wedding at Cana

We did not have much time, but our information is solid.

MR 4.A Mid Level Activity

Our Idea Sketch is the best because it offers the information concisely and clearly. It is not too much explanation and is color coordinated. The color organizes the thoughts that we conveyed, and provides an easier way to look at and understand out project.

MR 4.A Mid Level Activity

I use analyize and breakdown the interlinking between the baptism of Christ and the wedding at Cana. Through this I can show the actual connections between these two events. All of these are interconnected through the acceptance of Jesus's mission

MR 4.A Mid Level Activity

One thing I noticed that as that there was a first in each story. The first time Jesus preformed a miracle and the first time Jesus showed that he valued humility and being a servant. Neither of these were the only time he said these, but he stated these exact values at the beginning of his teachings and he stick with them until the end.

The Significance of Mr. Coles Videos

What I learned from Mr. Coles EduCanon videos was that we need Sanctifying Grace to be in perfect union with God. I also learned a lot more about the significance of the details at the wedding of Cana to honor thy mother and father.

First Team Message

I was focused on Chemistry and AC Geometry, also slightly distracted by a possible staff infection in my knee. I will put it on my agenda, it previously wasn't.

This week's video.

I mentioned it in class, but I thought it was interesting when it said that we would become gods by following God's plan. You mentioned in class that it was just wording for "in communion with God" to relate back to Adam and Eve.

SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS

I have not watched the lecture video, I have watched the first twelve minute video, but I forgot to watch the second. I will write and mark it down in my greenbook and log it in my ipad under reminders.
